Hi guys! Tried a totally new style for this piece; tried to emulate Mr Hyung Tae Kim's style of shading and dynamic posing! I used around three references for this. Check out [link] for his fantastic works. It was really fun but tougher because my lineart isnt' really prominent (I have horrible sketchy lines as a base

) I know that the anatomy is screwed, lol. I wanted to try exaggerated limbs + anime-style proportions. Comments and favs are as always, deeply appreciated!

This piece of work kinda stands out on it's own in your gallery. Nice layout. But you could give yourself a little more credit by making the hyperlink (top left) more readable =]

Thanks! I dont really like this piece though because i didnt design her outfit etc with care; more or less rushed it out to add weight to my portfolio

I've seen the pic by HTK where you've used it as a reference except you've changed her left arm pose, her face and outfit. What can i say im a big HTK fan XD

Well Mr Hyung has this trademark butt-facing-you-turning-back-to-look pose in more than one picture, and i wanted to try drawing and painting that at least once

I did not trace over the picture though, dont worry

I used it for reference while looking to shade like him.
